Well, by Texas standards, it’s getting a little cold around these parts.
My friend, Phony Bone, got cold, so we built a fire for him.
Here he is, just saying hi, being warm by the fire.

Oooh. Toasty!

hello, bone!
Haha, I’m getting very accustomed to seeing that little guy now.
The fireplace looks lovely!
So what, is it actually getting cold there now? Hehe… what part of TX do you live in? I miss Austin. I would KILL for some Chuy’s!
In response to your comment… yeah, John played with Cory for a stretch before I met him… right after I met him he started playing with Cory again, and did so until 2006. I miss Cory a ton – he’s great fun to pal around with. John has done a lot of guitar work on Cory’s albums, as well.
If you’re interested, you can see John’s myspace page at: http://www.myspace.com/johncarrollguitar
He kind of neglects updating it or beefing it up, but you can get a general idea from it.
John’s played with a lot of people, both onstage and via session work. My favorite times to tag along have been with Cory, Pat Green (because I like to pal around with Brett, the guitar player, he’s a HOOT) and Jim Lauderdale (he’s insanely funny).
It’s really neat, and sometimes I forget how cool my hubby is! I guess that’s what happens when you wash someone’s underwear all the time. ;-P
(Sorry, I just wrote a book in your comments section. Heh.)
Oh, and I almost forgot the time we went to NYC and John got to play with Les Paul! THAT was trippy.

jake: He said hi back.
Sarcastic Mom: wow. that’s a heck of a comment! Anyways, the fact that your hubby played with Les Paul is just too much awesome to comprehend. Anyways, I live East Texas, my parents live about 70 miles north of Dallas, which is where I’m spending Thanksgiving. And it’s down in the 30’s tonight, so I’d say it’s getting cold.
You sure he’s not waving farewell and preparing for a jump into the fire? Cuz that’s what I’d be doing after watching the video of that “comedian” person.
Rachelskirts: hahaha Well, maybe that’s what it was. Luckily, I saved him before he was able to meltify himself. That would, however, add a whole new dynamic to the pictures of him, no?
is that in your house? how’s that working out for you anyway?
…Where did you get Phony Bone? I really want one. lol
